· Students are trained in job preparation skills, resume preparation; interview practice; portfolio preparation.
· Students make connections between in-school learning and life-long learning.
· Students develop the work habits, attitude, and essential job skills necessary for successful transition to both post-secondary learning institutions and the work force.
· Students forge links with members of the workforce in their communities.
· Students are learning to identify and articulate their own personal strengths and skills in the workplace.
